Today was the 10th and final day of my juice fast. When I embarked on my journey, my goal was to try a 3-day juice fast. But after three days I wanted to keep going to experience the full cleansing and detoxifying benefits of a fast. I'm the type of girl that will tote spices along when I travel, or sometimes even into a restaurant. Call me crazy, I know... Guess what gang? I'm still juice fasting! Call me crazy but 3 days turned into 4 days and before I realized it, tomorrow is my 6th day! Wowzas! So you are all probably wondering how my 3 day juice fast went? Well, it was great! It wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done but it wasn't too bad either. Today was my third day and I felt the best out of all three days. More than anything I was full of energy. Last night I watched a documentary film that I've been meaning to see for awhile now. It's called Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead by Joe Cross. The good thing is that it's streaming on Netflix if you have an account, so you don't have to wait to get a DVD in the mail =) I'm a huge fan of streaming Netflix. I've had a beet in my fridge for a month. Yes a whole month! And I ate it tonight. Hmmm... I didn't realize root vegetables could last so long to be honest. And trust me, I looked it over beforehand. Happy Friday lovelies! I hope everybody had an exciting week :) My week was spent doing pretty much what I have been doing all summer: work, summer school and taking care of my knee. Fun stuff! Ha. Although in broader terms, I am feeling I little bit better and I think it's partly due to yoga. The (not so great) highlights of my weekend include: - 2 solid days of accounting homework and online exams. On exam in particular took me almost 3 hours! Ugh! - Dropped my Droid in the sink (full of water)... Grrr!
