Yesterday I had my first experience with a naturopath. I highly recommend doing thorough research before selecting a naturopath clinic, because the level of professional care and experience, along with professional certifications of the staff, can be highly varied. A lil prep work


It's been three weeks since our getaway weekend in Ocala, and each week has been jam packed for me. My work and school schedule is probably the craziest it's ever been this fall semester! I'm working more hours at the accounting firm, and taking four night classes during the week. All natural & organic beauty products


One of my favorite finds on our St. Augustine trip was a tiny lil all-natural & organic bath and body shop called Hickory Ridge Organics. All of the products are vegan, and homemade locally in St. Augustine. We found the shop sandwiched in between a bunch of tacky tourist shops in the middle of downtown. A little lemon goes a long way…


You know what they say about lemons... When life gives you lemons... grab a bottle of tequila and celebrate! hehe And once you try a Meyer lemon, you'll never go back! Post-op update


Hello lovelies! My knee surgery went quite well on Wednesday, and I thought I'd give you all a bit of an update and share some of the good and (ehhh) not-so-good highlights. Since this was my second surgery for my PVNS (Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis), I went into it with a rough idea of what to expect beforehand and throughout the recovery process. Road to Recovery


Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a safe a happy holiday, and are enjoying the last moments of holiday bliss before heading back to work, school and regular routines. Thank you all for your sweet comments on my last post! Getting grandma into gear with healthier eating habits has been quite a rewarding experience (in just a week!). So far she is really sticking to the meal plans and snacks I've suggested (although I've still given her a lot of freedom to make her own choices). Developing healthier eating habits


So I have a new project under my belt. My grandparents are back in town for the winter and I am working with my grandmother on developing healthier eating habits. Easier said than done.
